Q. We’re so glad to have you as a member of MCRW.  Are you a native of Nashville or somewhere else? If somewhere else, where, and how did you end up here?

A. I was born in Pasadena, Calif. and lived in Rosemead, Calif., (a suburb of LA) for 13 years.  Then I lived in Spokane, Wash., for 8 years then my husband and I lived in Milwaukee, Wisc., for 30 years before we moved to Nashville in 1998 and we love it here.

Q. What made you decide to try your hand at writing romance novels?

A. I've always loved to read.  One day I read an English romance and told my mom it was so bad I probably could do as good.  She dared me, and here we are 5 years later.

Q. Tell us about your "WIP" or work-in-progress?  What in specific do you write?

A.  I write mostly erotica, but do some single title/contemporary also.  I have 9 finished single title and 11 erotic novellas finished and 4 erotic novellas half finished.  I never work on one piece at a time.  I'm usually working on two or three things at once.

Q: How do you balance your writing with your other responsibilities? (Yes, as always, I'm looking for tips...)

A. Sometimes my house doesn't get cleaned as good as it should.  I have my husband well trained to clean up after himself and he does his own laundry.  My mom lives with us and does my laundry with hers.  Yes, I'm spoiled.

Q. What do you do when you're not writing?  Do you have a "day" job, hobbies, obsessions?

A. My biggest obsessions is reading.  I remember my favorite Christmas gift was when I was about 9 - I received the whole set of 'Cherry Ames Nurse'.  I read voraciously and usually have 4 or 5 books going at one time.  On my day job I'm a data processor/clerk typist at AIG/American General.  I'm responsible for being sure approximately 1,000 agents in the field are paid correctly for their sales.

Q. Do you have children, pets, plants, a spouse, dust bunnies, a thimble collection or anything like that?

A.  I collect Geisha Girl china pieces from the early 20th century.  I have tons of dust bunnies and have been thinking of naming them all.  We have 2 cats who add to the bunny problem.  You all have seen my husband at one time or another.  Dennis and I have been married almost 44 years and have two daughters and three grandkids.

Q. What are some of your favorite books, romance and other?

A.  My favorite books are Harlequin Presents, Blaze and any other romance I can get my hands on. I especially like Susan Johnson, Vickie Lewis-Thompson and Diana Palmer.

Q. If you could go on a dream vacation anywhere in the world on someone else's perfectly legitimate dime, where would you go, who would you take, and what would you do?

A. My perfect vacation would be on an island with no cell phone.  I'd take my husband and a dozen erotic books, my AlphaSmart and I'd lay around and read and write until I couldn't see straight.  Then I'd chase my husband, Dennis, around the island.

Q: Tell us a secret!

A. I'm a chocoholic who watches TV while I read and write.
